Welcome to the Montreal Chapter of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society! The Montreal chapter is a crossroad where aviation veterans meet monthly and where others can meet with them to find out first hand about their involvement or interest in aviation and its history. Every month we feature a keynote speaker, who generally was critically involved in aviation events and history or had a front row seat to it. Other members have no aviation background but want to know more about aviation, its history and its impact on Québec and Canadian history. We welcome visitors to come to our monthly meetings. Come and see for yourself; if you enjoy your visit, consider becoming a member and have full member privileges at the chapter. You will have access to the member area of the website, with discussion forums and you receive the 6 annual newsletters . But most importantly, you will help in sustaining our efforts in making history accessible to other people, young and old, who want to know more about this important industry that literally helped shape our country. Montreal is and has been for years the center of the Aviation Industry in Canada. Québec and Canada, due to the geography and the climate, have been and still are world leaders in aviation expertise and Canada’s contribution to the US space program is another leading role in the newest frontier. We strongly believe that we need a large and involved membership to record these exploits. Please come an join us soon at one of our meetings. Please note that we have changed our meeting location to be able to accommodate a growing membership!

CAHS AGM in Montreal (Saint Anne de Bellevue) June 2 - 5, 2010 All photos taken by Christian Aubert, Dick Pickering, Blair Burns and Gary Williams are now available on the Link of the month! Check it out and download your photo. July 10, 2010 Annual BBQ at Bob Graham's Invitation to the CAHS Montreal Chapter Annual BBQ, gracefully hosted again "Chez Robert Graham" – on Saturday 10 July 2010, From Noon - 1500! Bring a friend, bring your spouse and bring your own beverage and good cheer. We will provide the grilled foods, salads, water and coffee. The suggested contribution is $10 each or $15 per couple, payable on arrival. The BBQ will be held - rain or shine. Come and join other aviation aficionados to share a few stories. Because of the time of the meeting, we now include a small lunch - sandwiches, veggies, cookies, coffee and bottled water. Because of the food, we are raising the landing fee to $ 5 per meeting and with lunch, this is a real bargain!
