Last year, the Montreal Chapter hosted the 47th Annual Convention in beautiful Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, June 2nd to 5th. The theme was “Aviation in Montreal: Past and Present” and attendees were treated to a variety of speakers, tours, and events.

Some highlights

  • Marc Garneau, Canada’s first astronaut, was the keynote speaker
  • Tour and BBQ at the Canadian Aviation Heritage Centre
  • A full day of tours to Aveos, the Bombardier Challenger plant, and Mechtronix.
  • Several authors were on hand at the book fair to sign copies of their work
